U.S. Posts Largest Ever Monthly Deficit in February

Last month the US posted a record budget deficit, at $234 billion compared with the previous record of $231.7 billion set seven years ago according to Bloomberg.

“Economist Stephen Moore, Trump’s pick to be a Fed governor, said in an interview on Bloomberg TV on Friday. “We’ve just got to get the spending” under control but no party is in the mood for that, he added.”

This is the problem. The national debts continue to climb, along with the interest payments each month and yet most of public does not care.  Everyone from the baby boomer to the Millennials wants to increase social programs, the welfare state.

Trump has to find a way to convince the nation to cut the budget, reduce spending.
